Miniature Diaphragm Isolation Valve: R6 Series

Source: Parker Hannifin

At just 6.4mm, the R6 diaphragm isolation valve can easily be mounted over microplates, enable smaller and more efficient fluidic circuits, and shorten fluid channels. It’s ideal for applications involving sampling, reagent addition, flow control, and microfluidics.

Parker Hannifin’s R6 series of miniature valves are well suited for clinical diagnostics, analytical chemistry, agent detection, and environmental monitoring markets. Its slim design allows for mounting as close to 7mm centers and it’s small enough to be mounted at the point of dispense – thus eliminating transfer lines. An 8.1 uL internal volume enables low carryover designs and reduces the use of reagents, and its low power requirements (2 Watts max) enable portable and low-power control.
